Maths 

We will be following the Hamilton Trust scheme of work for maths. Within each lesson the children are given the opportunity to consolidate their understanding through fluency practice and problem solving and reasoning activities. 

Read Write Inc Phonics

Read Write Inc will be delivered to all year 1 children which will be their English lessons. They will take part in daily phonics sessions and then be reading and producing writing linked to the sounds they have learned.
