The Governing Body
The Governors' main roles include:
• To provide strategic direction for the school
• Determining how the school's budget is spent
• Setting A Statement of Principles on which the behaviour policy are based.
• Making sure school buildings are safe and secure
• Reviewing and monitoring the school's aims and policies, including collective worship
• Hearing appeals and grievances
The board of governors consist of:
• 2 Parent Governors who are elected by other parents of the school
• 1 LA Governor appointed by the Local Authority (vacancy)
• 1 Headteacher in post as ex-officio
• 1 Staff Governor elected by staff
• 2 Co-opted Governors appointed by the Full Governing Body (1 vacancy)
• 9 Foundation Governors appointed by the Diocese (4 vacancies)
